June Update
Hello Magical Humans!!
I am writing to you on an extra special day. Yes, a Tuesday. No wait, it’s not just any old regular Tuesday! Today, June 9th, there is some beautiful cosmic weather happening: Venus and Jupiter are meeting up in the sky at 25 degrees of Cancer. This is yummy, folks.
Venus represents beauty, love, harmony, and peace. Through Venus we discover our values and desires. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, optimism, good luck, and adventure. Through Jupiter, we develop our belief systems and faith in something greater than ourselves. Think about that: a rendezvous between our Earthly desires and the ultimate cheerleader. Let that sink in for a moment. This is magic fairy dust on crack (FYI, Jupiter likes to exaggerate). I must add that Jupiter is in it’s happiest happy place- the sign of Cancer. So, how do we use this energy??
I, personally, am playing with this this energy in the same way I approach a new moon. I will set intentions, plant seeds, and clear any energetic clutter that is standing in the way of those seeds. Why the clutter clearing? Well, even though these two planets are considered the benefics of the zodiac (and tend to feel good by default), they can only work with what they are presented with.
So, if your self worth (Venus) is low and you are not valuing yourself, then you will likely feel it as a block to getting what you desire. Venus requires that you be open to receiving. You can’t do that if you feel unworthy of whatever it is you most desire. Oh, and this tricky little road block is likely hiding in your subconscious so be sure to check there!
Jupiter, on the other hand is going to come in and expand everything. It is going to look for the positive and joyful zones first, but if your underlying belief system is that everything is broken and there is no point to anything… well, it will amplify that too. Should we pretend that things are perfect when there are issues that need our attention? Absolutely not. These moments where we feel stuck and ornery provide extremely helpful intel that we can use to understand and move through our dominating thoughts and emotions. They are powerful messengers.

If you want extra clues, you will want to see what house in your chart holds 25 degrees of Cancer, where this divine meetup is happening. Personally, this falls in my 3rd house of communication, transportation, siblings, and local networks. So, I’m going to spend some time cleaning any “clutter” currently in this house.
Ha. As I am writing this, I just realized that one of our vehicles is in the repair shop and it’s absence has shifted the transportation routines in my household. Maybe the elusive engine part we are waiting for will magically appear sooner than expected. Or, maybe the gift is in driving my teenagers to school for the last few days before my oldest graduates high school. A mentor of mine once taught me the lovely ritual of looking up to the heavens, arms outstretched, and saying “Show me how good it can get!!” This feels like a PERFECT time for that practice.
