July Update
Hello Magical Humans!
How are you?! I have been quiet over here, even though life keeps right on life-ing. Things don’t feel any slower in my outer world, but my inner world has shifted into a distinct slowdown phase, and I’m not mad about it at all.
I’ve shared before about the progressed moon: a 2.5-year cycle unique to each of us based on our birth charts. This current slowdown is a perfect example of that cycle in action. My progressed moon just shifted out of a 2.5-year stretch in Aries (action-focused, instinctual, independent, and outgoing) and moved into Taurus.
Moving into Taurus feels as though I’m suddenly wading through honey: sweet and slow. I’m stopping to smell the roses again, and I’ve even felt the urge to cook! Oh, and there is officially no hurrying me beyond the pace I want to go. (Caveat: I’m a Taurus rising, so this is already my default setting- just ask my family! 😉)

Whenever I hear someone say, "I’m feeling really introverted right now," or "I can't remember the last time I had a quiet night in," I immediately wonder where their progressed moon is located. It is such a predictable marker that, during readings, it almost always elicits a relief-filled, "OMG, that makes so much sense!"
We feel this shift most intensely when the moon first enters a new sign or house, and the overall flavor of the phase is colored by both. For instance, in my chart, this progressed moon is moving through my 12th house, highlighting my subconscious, imagination, intuitive abilities, hidden gifts, and deep need for quiet retreat. The 12th house is a space of endings and seeing through illusions (or sometimes getting lost in them). I anticipate a big release of outdated emotional patterns and plenty of "aha!" moments as subconscious material comes to light. In fact, I’ve already experienced both multiple times, and I’m just getting started!
Given this shift in cycles, it makes complete sense to me that I’ve been so drawn to guided hypnosis during this time. I am consistently blown away by the clarity of the guidance I receive from my higher self during a hypnosis journey. Even the skeptical part of me is often left jaw-agape when the exact answer I need arrives through an image, phrase, or situation my logical mind never could have constructed. It feels like searching everywhere for the last missing piece of a puzzle, only to realize it was in my hand all along.

Having personally experienced and guided others through multiple healing modalities, hypnosis feels like a true superhighway to the goldmine of wisdom held in the subconscious. While I may enjoy moving slowly in the 3D world, I love the efficiency and weightlessness of zipping through the inner realm.
Have you ever tried hypnosis? If so, I’d love to hear what the experience was like for you!
Because of how I’m wired, I always need to look under the hood to see how things work. Naturally, I had to learn how to facilitate it myself! I’ve been studying the practice through the powerful lens of SMGI, and I am now offering sessions at an introductory rate if you feel a ping to try it out.

Anything is possible in our inner worlds. We are the ultimate creators, designers, and renovators of that space. How cool is that?!
Speaking of cool things, did you know you can grow up to be a professional sandcastle builder?! Talk about a direct line to your inner child. For your viewing pleasure, I’m sharing some of my favorite creations from a recent sandcastle competition in Parksville, BC.
I don’t think I’ll be taking up professional sand sculpting anytime soon, but hey... never say never! 😉
I hope you are having a lovely summer, and that your inner child is roaming free and wild on the regular.
Warmly,
Jenny
