February Update
Hello Magical Humans!
How are you doing out there?! February is coming in spicy, friends. It may not be Scotch Bonnet spicy, but it is certainly above a Jalapeño. I’m more of a Shishito pepper person myself (I like a little surprise cushioned in salty comfort food). It’s how my Aquarius Sun and Cancer Moon manage to play nicely together.
Why is it spicy, though? So glad you asked. On January 26th, Neptune moved solidly into Aries, a placement we haven’t seen in any of our lifetimes other than the sneak peak in late March through late October of last year. Neptune moved from its home sign, Pisces, where it has been up-leveling the spiritual game of the collective, as well as inviting us to ponder what is real and what is an illusion in our reality. Pisces is the final sign in the zodiac- a place of spirituality, imagination, and returning to wholeness.
Aries is the starting line of a new game. It is fresh and full of youthful energy. It holds Pioneer energy. Neptune wants to feel into things and merge with them and Aries says “Just Do It” (am I going to get sued by Nike? I should probably run that by legal).
Under Neptune’s influence we can feel a bit lost and confused because there is so much extra sensory information available to us and it takes a hot minute to sort through it to discern what is real. Neptune in Aries involves combining the gift of expanded perception with lightning quick reflexes.
What can this mean for our collective? My guess is that we will see more and more people stepping into their spiritual gifts and bringing them to life. I also imagine that we will continue to see swift disclosure of illusions followed by decisive movement. There may be a period of increased disillusionment (and shock) in the collective, and mobilization that leads to improved care for the most vulnerable among us. Since these two energies are very different, anticipate a period of adjustment where you are ready to hit the ground running but you need to figure out where the heck you are.
I know, I know, who uses actual maps anymore? Ah, the good old days.
Alternatively, you might want to come out with your guns blazing, but find that your target is concealed in the mist. Key takeaway: proceed with care when you feel anger bubble up. Allow the anger to move through you, not AS you.
A significant meetup will take place on February 20th, when Neptune and Saturn meet at the 0 degree point of Aries. This is a new beginning of a Saturn/Neptune cycle at the exact beginning of the zodiac, which is a very potent combination. Saturn moves into Aries on Friday the 13th- way to make an entrance, Saturn!
When Saturn meets up with any of the outer planets it is a big deal. For a bit of context on how impactful these transits can be: Saturn met up with Pluto in January 2020. Saturn materializes what it touches. It brings concepts, ideas, and lessons into form. In 2020, the world transformed before our eyes, and we all learned a thing or two about truth and power (two of Pluto’s favorite topics).
Neptune holds a very different energy to Pluto, so you can let out that breath you have been holding. I believe Neptune will appear as a dissolving of systems and institutions that have not been working for a very long time. On an individual level, it can help us dissolve the identities we've attached ourselves to that actually separate us.

This meetup will take place between two eclipses, the first on February 13th, and the second on March 3rd. Eclipse energy is rapid moving and delivers surprises. Notice what shows up in your life during that time period.
What is asking for your attention?
What is the deeper wisdom that emerges when you peel away the stories?
How can you learn to flow with the unexpected instead of getting pulled into drama?
Above all, try to find compassion for yourself and others. We are all relearning how to walk as a collective, and at first, we’re going to look like intoxicated toddlers who missed their naps. It’s just part of the process. A more loving world is coming- even if it doesn’t look like it yet.
