December Update

Hello Magical Humans!

Are we seriously less than a month away from capping off 2025?!? Hopefully you are enjoying the heck out of Sagittarius season, because that’s exactly what it is there for, folks: one last hurrah before we put the year to rest. Soon enough we will roll into Capricorn season and we’ll be wanting to set goals and get sh*t done, so please do enjoy the merriment.

We kicked off this season of adventure and expansion by flying halfway around the world to experience the Christmas markets in Germany and Austria. Jupiter, the planet that rules Sagittarius is often likened to Santa Claus- it is big, and jolly and unafraid of jam-packed travel plans, so this felt especially suiting. There is nothing quite like travel to open your mind and take you out of your comfort zone. I always return from travel with new ideas and a fresh perspective.

For starters, I will be setting up a Pimpstation in my home, stat.

One thing I love to have with me when I travel are some meaningful items that help me cleanse the energy of an unfamiliar space, clear my own energy, and to easily connect with my regular mindfulness practice. Before I left, I came across a tiny travel altar in a repurposed mint tin, and I had to create my own:

I could have popped a fresh candle in, but we are keeping it authentic here, peeps.

Since this is the season of gatherings and so.much.busy-ness, I’m sharing how I clear and ground my energy (and the spaces around me) to help me sleep better, feel better, and still enjoy all the peopling that makes this time of year so special. This practice is a must for all of my empaths out there.

  • When I first arrive in a space, I like to light a candle and burn incense or palo santo. I often carry an energy clearing spray with me with a scent that reminds me of home. I simply set the intention to clear any energy that is not mine, and anything that is is not for my highest good.

  • As soon as I’m able- after arriving in a new space or spending time in a busy, lively environment- I try to take a shower. I set the intention that the water washes away anything that isn’t mine and anything that no longer serves me.

  • Before heading out into a space packed with a smorgasbord of energy, I bubble myself up in golden white light (I visualize it) and ask that only what is meant for me can enter.

Do you have any favorite ways to reset yourself this time of year? For my locals who would like some flow and peace during this holiday season, I am excited to collaborate with The Collective Studios in San Francisco for a yoga and sound offering on Sunday 12/7.

Warmly,

Jenny
