Virgo New Moon(s)

Hello Magical Humans,

I hope you are savoring these last few weeks of summer! If you’re anything like me, this season stirs up a funny mix of nostalgia for the long, carefree days we’re leaving behind and a genuine craving for routine and order. It’s such a perfect reflection of the shift from Leo into Virgo: Leo brings the party and Virgo cleans it up (and makes sure the receipts all add up.)

Tomorrow we step into Virgo season, with the new moon arriving late at night or early Saturday morning (depending on your time zone). This is actually the first of two new moons in Virgo this season— so your whole life might look like Martha Stewart’s pantry by the time we are through.  At least, I assume her pantry is always perfectly organized and labelled... If it is not, please don't tell me! It's my mental happy place .

AI generated pantry (with some foods that don’t exist)

This new moon will also be engaging in a slightly tense conversation with Uranus—a cosmic shake-up that often brings surprises, breakthroughs, or the unexpected. It might look and feel a little bit like this:

Sun + Moon: Ok, starting on Monday we are going to-

  1. Organize every room in the house

  2. Create a schedule for the rest of eternity

  3. Start a cleanse

  4. Schedule a physical

  5. Train the dog

  6. Find a dog trainer (Lolz - who am I kidding with #4?!)

  7. Label everything (soothing for my nervous system)

  8. Find a handyman to fix all the broken things we've put off all year.

  9. Take recipes the kids actually eat and sneakily make them 100% healthier

  10. Hide my chocolate stash in the vegetable drawer away from hungry children (trust me they never look there)

Uranus: Surprise!! You are going to need to update all your apps first, and reboot your WIFI.  Oh, and here are 6000 articles you need to read about how to do the things on your list in new and improved ways.

Soooo, if you start to feel like you are spending too much time with your own thoughts, or you find yourself down a rabbit hole researching dog colonoscopies (I mean, it could be a thing )... Try to take a moment to pause and return to the present moment. Virgo is all about finding the sacred in everyday, simple activities. Practical magic is Virgo's super power.

This upcoming cycle will help you ground new habits and tend to anything in your life that you want to organize, declutter, or refine.  Especially around your physical health and your daily activities. My intention is to establish a new morning routine that incorporates mindfulness and movement. Normally I get lost in the spiritual and forget about the physical, so I'm trying to create some balance.

What area of your life could use some Virgo energy?
